Apologies for the lack of posts last week – been having a well-earned break, together with a visit to the EF Schumacher Centenary conference in Bristol. A report on that and a few more reflections to come on Tuesday.
But one thing to flag up right now: one of the things that happened in the conference and following days was the beginning of a new partnership between Friends of the Earth and various of the faith-based environmental NGOs. This is already bearing fruit in the form of a new campaign on renewable energy, to be launched tomorrow (Monday). Details are under wraps right now but watch the FoE website in the coming days. For the time being, here’s a link to the FoE’s briefing on shale gas.
