Our final panellist, Roy Tindle, is a little hard to categorise. Following early retirement from a professional career in industrial chemistry and banking, he now devotes himself to a variety of projects to promote environmentalism, biodiversity, sustainability and related areas. He is active in the Church of England in a church in central London, and is part of groups in the church, in the business community and civic society generally, seeking in particular to bring about partnerships of common interest. Among his desires is for the church to regain the role it once had as a sponsor and commissioner of high-quality long-lasting work.
It will be interesting to hear his views and experience in many areas, but especially how religious groups and businesses can interact for the benefit of sustainability.
